The goal difference is looking good. 11 goals better off than Stirling Albion.
We should not underestimate Alloa on Saturday, they are playing for survival in this division.

Agreed Alan. Alloa will come out on Saturday and have a real go at us - we have a nasty habit of starting games slowly and giving away silly goals. We need to be ready for them.

No place for Michie on the bench last night. Now that Bav and others (Hagen, Hegarty, Good) are on their to being fully fit I think he's going to find it difficult to get a game.

We now have a real chance of finishing in 3rd place and leaving Stirling and Partick to scrap over the final spot.

The crucial match for us will be to pick up the points on Saturday.

Partick seem to be feeling the pressure of expectation although I was surprised that Stirling have given themselves a mountain to climb with the goal difference especially with another game versus Gretna to come.

Anyway we need to concentrate on our own games and try to keep the momentum going into the play-offs.(if all goes well)

Whatever happens it's been a great season for the blue toon.

Agree that saturdays match is shaping up to be a tough one, we need to get going from the start as Alloa will be sure to be up for it. Would think 5pts from our remaining games will get us in the play-offs so gaining 3pts on sat would be a huge step toward that goal. As mentioned before while we have exceded a lot of folks expectations for the season we have a chance to make it really memourable by first securing our play-off spot and then give it our best shot in them.

I think 5 points guarantees us a playoff spot  with Partick playing Stirling on Saturday its a great chance for us to either 99.9999% secure a playoff spot or be 3 points ahead of the other 2 teams with 2 games in hand. Obviously what i dont want to happen is us/stirling to win this week and partick/stirling to win the week after, which would leave only goal difference separating the 2 teams :o (thankfully stirlings goal difference is very poor)
COME ON THE BLUE TOON

We did your boys a favour against Stirling despite the fact we don't particularly like you and I'm sure the feeling's mutual. Would be good to see you boys along side us in the First Division though as it would be a guaranteed 12 points.
