Albion Rovers (03/11/2018)

Should have had the game over and done with by half time but with a few players misfiring a double from Del was enough to see us through.

At the end of the day it's a win that takes us to the top and we need to kick on now and try to open a gap.

Pity there's only one league game now in November with a postponement and a cup game but six games in December including the rearranged Edinburgh away game (Tuesday 11th December) will be a big test for us.

Game should have been done and dusted by 30 mins. The abysmal finishing of some was exemplified by Jack clearing the ground from 8 yards, as Kammy would say "UNBELIEVABLE JEFF" !!!

I actually said after weathering the 2nd half storm that maybe Peterhead are going to do a "MONTROSE" and grind out a title, let's hope so :)

We have been in situations like Saturdays before now & shot ourselves in the foot the main thing in the game was to pick up all 3 points. Actually feel apart from spells in some games we have not really hit top form yet. We have in the past tended to be fairly slow starters in the league, we have got off to a better than usual start & can hopefully kick on & aim for the title asap. We have a better all round squad this year & should be able to put out a capable team each week from the players available.
