I know what you mean. Lots of kids thinking that you can't afford a man u shirt !
Wore last years red away shirt through ABZ airport once and had all the security staff asking what team that was.
Also walked into a bar in China to be served by a bloke from Hong Kong wearing a PHD shirt !!! Was probabily the one trip I didn't have my one with me. Typical, would have been a great photo :D

Today the shirt will be drinking beer on a BA flight out of this lovely sandpit

Some boy in a Somerfield in Edinburgh once asked me which strip I had on as 'it was really annoying him.' I told him Peterhead and he looked none the wiser. I must have just been to a Cowdenbeath or Berwick game. Going to Man U game this Sat - first and only bloo toon home game I will have missed and am planning on missing this season. Will take my home top to Manchester with me although I don't think I have the courage to wear it to the game!

Wearing it at Man U would be brave or suicide. My top has been mistaken for Chelsea in foreign lands. Not a thing you want at the home end!

I haven't got a strip, but I've got a Peterhead club tie, and it's at home in my wardrobe in Elgin. I'd take it out to Trinidad with me, but we've not much use for ties out here. I'll bet that'll shock you Popeye!!!!

Why would that shock me wee man? - Of course I know it's far too hot and uncomforable for wearing ties anywhere in the Caribean

Sitting in the office in Lagos, Nigeria wearing mine now.

Brought back shirts to all the office security guys, and we all wear the shirts every Saturday.
They do not understand why they never see PFC on DSTV (the local sattelite TV)
I would think that Lagos is the only place in the world where you will see a loaded AK47 slung over the shoulder of a PFC shirt.

Even makes Frankie Krukowski look tame.
Last time at Balmoor I realised .... I am not a polar bear!!

Mine is hanging up in a wardrobe in Basildon but gets a regular airing around town! Most of the people I talk to have never even heard of Peterhead util they get a quick geography lesson and are told to keep an eye on the Scottish Football League results.

Have none of them watched Trawlermen on BBC? Good to see we have supporters from the south of England. Just a pity we don't have more from Peterhead. :(

I did mention that to a bloke I was at football with, he hadn't linked 'Peterhead' and 'Trawlermen'.

We know people in Peterhead (well, Dad does) I've not been there for almost 20 years now. But because of that link we have kept an eye on Peterhead's progress since they were accepted in to the league.
